Executive Director

Erika has over 16 years of experience with legal immigration work has been with the CDC for 20 years. She directs the Integrated Services for Immigrant Families (ISIF) program. She has a degree in Accounting from NMSU. As with the Executive Director, she also has administrative and financial oversight responsibilities for the organization.

Case Worker

Lorraine has been with the ISIF program since 2015.  She as acquired extensive experience in the legal immigration services office. She is a senior case worker, partially accredited legal representative. She was originally accredited in 2018.

Juana has been with the CDC since June of 2023.  She works in the accounting department handles all incoming invoices and assures timely payments to our vendors.  She assists with general office management procedures.

Lourdes Ramos

Administrative Clerk and Case Worker Assistant

Lourdes has been with the CDC since 2020.  She works as a clerk assistant to the legal representatives, she is digitizing CDC’s internal documents, and assists with the Promotoras de Apoyo Familiar program.

Case Worker

Zenia has been with the ISIF program since 2017.  She is a senior case worker. She has acquired extensive experience in the legal immigration services office.  She is under review for her accreditation with the Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Archivist and Clerk

Ana has been with the organization since 2015. She is the primary person in charge of clients’ files.  She is the primary archivist for immigration.

Sujey Escobedo

Receptionist

Sujey has been with our office since 2019, first as a caseworker assistant and now as a receptionist. She is usually the first point of contact in the office, addressing the over 4,500 walk-in clients we receive every year.

Case Worker

Brittany started as a volunteer tutor and class assistant for the Citizenship Preparation Classes in 2017 and now works as a case worker.  She is a case worker with Consular processes and participates in Consular Mobiles in West Texas as well as the southern New Mexican region.

Johanna has been with the CDC since July of 2023. She works as a case worker Assistant providing support for consular processes and other consular-related matters for our clients.

Jesús Leos

Lead Teacher for Citizenship Ship Classes

Jesús has been with CDC for over 8 years.  He was originally a student in a citizenship preparation class, a teacher of the same, and is now the Lead or Master Teacher for all the citizenship classes. Jesus has a Masters Degree in Bilingual Education and also works for the Deming School District.

Website Manager

Xavier has been with the CDC since 2021. He first began as a tutor with the CDC. Now, he manages the CDC website along with social media. Xavier has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, he also works for Student Life at NMSU as the Coordinator of Communications and Technology.

Arturo Bustillos

Citizenship Class Teacher

Arturo has been with the CDC since 2023 as a citizenship preparation teacher.  He is a middle school teacher in the Hatch Valley Schools, a position he has had for 15 years.
